Choose Your Keywords Wisely

How do I know which keywords to target?

The most important task you will have is determining which keywords you should target on any given page of your website.

I say “any given page of your website” because you should optimize each page individually. Each page on your site needs to be able to stand on its own as far as ranking for keywords on that particular page.

This enables you to bring in visitors on many different keywords and keyword phrases instead of just the few that your home page will be optimized for.

I don’t recommend simply copying and pasting each page and then modifying the content. You should take the time and start each page from scratch.

This enables you to better optimize each page for the keywords you are hoping to target. You want to try and take full advantage of the potential traffic you can get by having many ‘doorways’ into your site.

The more doors you have, the more traffic you can get. View each page as a new ‘doorway’ into your site through which Web surfers can enter.

Although your first instinct will be to go with more popular terms such as music, marketing, or cars, you should narrow the scope quite a bit.

Some reasons for not optimizing your pages for these types of keywords are:

1) They are too broad - If your website is about Rap music, would you want to attract thousands of Country music or Gospel music fans? Even if you are tempted to answer ‘yes’ to that question, you should say ‘no’. These visitors won’t be interested in your music, and will quickly leave in search of a site that fits their interests.

2) Too much competition - You will have a much more difficult time getting a high ranking on the search engines when you use these more general and more popular terms because you will have literally millions of websites all trying to get the same spot you are.

3) Too much time and effort involved - If you decide to try and compete with the other millions of webmasters out there trying to get into the top 25 or so listings, you’ll spend an awful lot of time trying to get there, and spend even more trying to keep your position!

I’m sure your next thought will be: “Okay, I’ll go for Internet Marketing, or Rap Music, or Used Cars!”

Well, that does narrow things down a bit, but these phrases will still have a ton of competition.

The better (and more profitable) approach is to search for keywords and keyword phrases that meet both of the following:

1) Popular - They are searched for by a lot of people

2) Have little competition - It is so much easier to get a high ranking (and stay there!) when you target keywords that have little competition.

The key to success with the search engines is to find keywords that many of your potential customers are searching for, but that few of your competitors are optimizing for.

How in the World do I do that?

The absolute best resource you’re going to find online for finding keywords that fit the above criteria is: WordTracker

They offer a free trial, and if you need to have access to the more advanced reporting features, or would like to research other search engines not offered in the trial, you can subscribe to their service for a small fee.

The trial will work just fine, but if you decide to get serious, this will be the best money you spend. Each time you add a new page to your website you should research the best keyword phrases and optimize that page for them.

Since this is such a valuable resource, and because this part of your search engine strategy is so important , I’m going to give you a quick tutorial (complete with screen shots!) of how to use WordTracker to find the best keywords.

Obviously you’ll need to have a general idea of what the subject of your website is, or is going to be, and then click here to go to the WordTracker website.

Once there, find and click on the Trial link. You will then be asked to enter your name and email address to start your trial. (They will send the results to this email address, so make sure you enter a valid address.)

Make sure you check the box to get the weekly Top 500 Keywords report! This is a very useful email that you’ll get once a week that will show you the most popular keywords for that week.

Then you’ll see the following:

wordtracker

For this example I’ll enter in “marketing” and click Proceed, which will then bring up a list of related keywords and phrases:

wordtracker

You will have a left window and a right window, and when you click a keyword it will display the results in the right window.

By clicking on marketing, I get this result in the right window:

wordtracker

This list gives various keyword phrases with the word “marketing” in them, and sorts them by number of searches.

What you will then do is click on a few of these keywords to add them to your basket (don’t worry, this will make more sense after you’ve gone through it once.)

After you’ve added a few of these keywords to your basket, click the link to move to Step 3.

This step gives you some choices that are only available in the full version, so just click the link to go to Step 4.

Step 4 is where you’ll find the good stuff!

wordtracker

The important information on this page is the KEI Analysis. This gives each keyword a rank based on how popular the keyword is, and how much competition it has.

A low score means that either not many people search for the keyword, or that there is too much competition for it.

The amount of competition is determined by searching for each keyword on the selected search engine, and finding out how many sites come up in the results.

What you want is a good mixture of popularity and competition … or lots of popularity and little competition!

If you look at the scale just above the table in this graphic you will see what KEI numbers will mean you have found a good keyword or keyword phrase.

In this example it appears that I didn’t find any good keyword choices.

But, another search I ran found these:

wordtracker

As you can see in that list, there are a few terms that have a very high KEI ranking. This means that these would be good keywords to target because they have a good ratio of popularity to competition.

This is exactly what you are looking for when trying to find the best keywords to target for your website or for individual pages on your website.

When you choose keywords that are popular and that have little competition, you’ll be able to quickly get your site into the top results for that keyword.

The following articles will show you what you must do to make sure you take the right steps to take advantage of the great keywords you discovered during the above process.

Edit : These is a new upgrade from Wordtracker that gives more accurate results. If you find that you liked Wordtracker, you should try KeywordSpy.

A Stop For File Deleters

Introduction

This tutorial should not be used to exploit webservers. Some of de techniques used here have certain outputs that can crash old servers makin’ them unusable. Throughout this tutorial, techniques will be passed on from exploits found in de ‘windows’ OS. That ‘ACTUALLY’ helps in de prevention of deletion. There are lots of methods in stoppin’ a deleter, without de ANY restrictions set on de server but most have some weak point. After comin’ across four new techniques, makin’ a folder ‘invisible’ or undetectable from an ftp client LIST fuction. Makin’ folders/directories inaccessable and clone prevention, creatin’ smart directories which slows
down de users attempt. I’m sure most users would thank me for this, ‘undeletable files’ after experiencin’ rock solid protection and safe files.

Invisible Directories

The idea of invisible directoires came about when I came across paths that were “/ /example/” and was not listed in de main folder but was still ‘accessable’. These can be created in all directories without oder users knowin’ it exists unless bein’ searched for ‘MANUALLY’, which takes ages at de present time to search through each folder for “/ /”.

Creatin’ Invisible Directories

1. before
./pub/
./images/
./_vti_pvt/
./_vti_cnf/
./_vti_log/
./temp/

2. after
./ /~/temp/tagged/for/team/warezpiratez/fxp/ <- hidden folder
./pub/
./images/
./_vti_pvt/
./_vti_cnf/
./_vti_log/
./temp/

To create de hidden folders, make a new dir. as follows usin' this method. [backslash][space][backslash][foldername1][backslash][foldername2].

ie. / /foldername1/foldername2/...

The 'space' isn't a name but a 'character' that does not get listed, derefore makin' de directories impossible to view.

NOTE: Makin’ de hidden folders several LAYERS/SUB-DIRECTORIES deep is recommended.

ie. / / / /~/temp/tagged/for/ /team/warez/ /piratez/fxp/

This technique is not ‘anti-deletion proof’ but hidden from deletion proof! Read more to find out how to combine ALL THREE TECHNIQUE to make it ‘REMOTELY’ impossible to delete. Please note de ‘quotes’, REMOTELY in a sense that remote/local host.

Inaccessable Directories

Inaccessable directories prevents de user from ‘enterin'’ de folder. The user will not be able to enter de folders unless knowin’ de ‘entire’ remote path.

Creatin’ Inaccessable Directories

1. before
./temp/tagged/for/team/warezpiratez/fxp/
./pub/
./images/
./_vti_pvt/
./_vti_cnf/
./_vti_log/
./temp/

2. after
./COM1 / temp/tagged/for/team/warezpiratez/fxp/ <- inaccessable directories, due to 'COM1' former windows bug.
./pub/
./images/
./_vti_pvt/
./_vti_cnf/
./_vti_log/
./temp/

To create inaccessable folders, use de followin' list of 'UNUSABLE NAMES'

COM1 COM1 COM3 COM4 (Windows COM PORTS)
LPT1 LPT2 LPT3 LPT4 (Windows Printer Ports)
AUX
NUL

Make a new folder "COM1[space][backslash][space][backslash] ie. /COM1 / /

NOTE: This makes de folder inaccessable, even to de siteadmin.(unless accessed from DOS, local with access to de machine.)

To use de dir. Create a new folder called “COM1[space][backslash][space][foldername1][backslash][foldername2] ie. /COM1 / / ~/temp/tagged/

NOTE: This folder is still inaccessable, if a user attempts to enter it. To gain access to de folder, de ‘full path’ must be known. To enter de folder use de RAW command ‘CWD’ change dir. path. to enter de folder. ie. CWD /COM1 / / ~/temp/tagged/ and voila de folder is usable and workin’.

TIP: Creatin’ de folder ’several’ LAYERS/SUB-DRIECTORIES deep. It is impossible to enter.

Smart Directories

This technique involves, de creation of directories that are ‘COPYRIGHT’. How’s that for a simple description. The idea is to create directories that would contain [periods] thorough each of de subdirectories or segmenets. The use of this is quite sipmle, note de word ‘COPYRIGHT. Most users use de ftp://login :password at ip :port/path/ format for faster access to an ftp.

Creatin’ Smart Directories

To create ’smart’ directories. Make de folder names of each sub directories contain a period before, inside, and after words within de subdirectories creatin’ a fake ‘file’ recognition. The Widows based clients will assume de folders to be files with windows usin’ its 8.3 format for file names.

1. before
ftp://anonymous@anonymous@123.456.789:21/temp/tagged/for/team/warezpiratez/f
xp/

2. after
ftp://anonymous@anonymous@123.456.789:21/temp/tagged ./for . /team. /. warez
.piratez/fxp

NOTE: Be as creative as possible with de dot formation, to prevent COPYING of all folders through each directories. The idea is to make de directories act as file extensions derefore when copied, it will be ‘queued’ and de user has to enter de directories MANUALLY. Oder ‘SYMBOLS’ can be used NOT ONLY just periods. But I find this most common, if de creator intends to create a catch phrase ‘memorable’ to him alone.

QUEUE: 1. /temp/tagged ./for . /team. /. warez .piratez/fxp <- result of folder extensions

Undeletable Files

Sad that we had to resolve to this but, this might be de end of deletion as we speak. I find no oder method out dere that can accomplish this task except settin’ restrictions from de server. This method involves de file bein’ self-protected. Meanin’ de files are ‘accessable’/'downloadable’ but can NOT be deleted. The idea is to make de file corrupted/crash makin’ it ‘in use’.

Creatin’ Undeletable Files

To create a self protected file, rename de entire file includin’ de extensions to de followin’ format:

filename[space][period]/[space]/ ie. filename ./ / The / / in de name as shown above in de previous example of creatin’ invisible directories makes de .extesion impossible to view on de pub as a windows recognized mime but, once dowloaded it will be shown and accessable. How’s that for wits.

1. before
warezpiratez.rar <- rar mime, winrar.

2. renamin’
warezpiratez ./ /

3. results
-warezpiratez <- unknown file(undeletable,downloadable) <- file will take de correct mime format on localhost

Ultimate Protection

The ultimate protection is obviously, yourself and your wits against de deleters. Use private FTPs, get fast sites T1+, but in this case, it would be de combination of all four techniques. Usin’ them into one major and thoughtout plan.

Creatin’ The Ultimate Protection

To create de ultimate protection that is desirable, first of all, create de invisible folders as shown above, several sub.dirs deep. Then creatin’ an ‘inaccesable’ folder within those invisible folders. Then de next step is to create those smart directories so it slows down ANY attempt to gain full access, and also it makes to user run into inaccessable folders. The idea is to trap de user before those folders usin’ de smart directories idea. I didn’t think that was ingenieus but just common sense and seemd smart!.

1. before
/temp/tagged/for/team/warezpiratez/fxp/ <- no protection

2. after
/ / /./ ./COM1 / temp/tagged ./for . /team. /. warez .piratez/fxp <-
protection(still weak)

NOTE: You can be creative with this technique, make it more complex, I didn’t do it in this tutorial because den that would make you just confused. I hope this helps, and please understand. It is not hard, unless you didn’t read from de Introduction. I made this well detailed. For it to be as simple as possible.

FAQ

1. What is a SUB-DIRECTORY
- It is de folder that is second/inside anoder folder. ie. firstfolder/subdir/

2. What is a pub
- Short for public ftp. There are, no restrictions/protection on de access over files. Some have them in most cases but den uploads/downloads are denied. Some would not allow fxp.

3. What does all this mean?
- It provides de internet safer from all de deleters.

4. Who are deleters?
- Deleters are mean and NASTY people who deletes files. Consists of spammers too.

Make Serial Key Generators

Introduction

I take no responsibility of de usage of this information. This tutorial, is for educational knowledge ONLY. In this tutorial, I intend to teach you how to make a pretty simple keygen, of a program called W3Filer 32 V1.1.3. W3Filer is a pretty good web downloader. I guess some of you might know de program. I`ll assume you know:

A.How to use debugger (in this case, SoftIce).
B.How to crack, generally (findin’ protection routines,patchin’ them,etc…).
C.How to use Disassembler (This knowledge can help).
D.Assembly.
E.How to code in Turbo Pascal .
Tools you`ll need:
A.SoftIce 3.00/01 or newer.
B.WD32Asm. (Not a must).
C.The program W3Filer V1.13 (if not provided in this package), can be found in
www.windows95.com I believe.
D.Turbo Pascal (ANY version).

Run W3Filer 32.

A nag screen pops, and , themands registration. We notice this program has some kind of serial number (Mine is 873977046). Let’s keep de serial in mind, I bet we`ll meet it again while we’re on de debugger. Well, now, let’s put your name and a dummy reg code. Set a BP on GetDlgItemTextA, and, press OK. We pop inside GetDlgItemTextA, Lets find de registration routine. I`ll save you de work, de registration routine is this:

:00404DB2 8D95A8FAFFFF lea edx, dword ptr [ebp+FFFFFAA8]
:00404DB8 52 push edx —> Your user name here.
:00404DB9 E80B550000 call 0040A2C9 —> Registration routine.

Makin’ de actual Keygen

Now, after I’ve explained how does de program calculate de registration code, you can eider write your own keymaker, without lookin’ at my code, or look at my code (in Turbo Pascal - sorry for all you C lovers). That’s it, here’s de source of my keygen:

SOURCE CODE

Program W3FilerKeygen;
var
Key,SerialNum,EB,ED,digit:Lon’int;
I,x:Byte;
Name,KeyHex:Strin’;
begin
Writeln(’ W3Filer32 V1.1.3 Keymaker’);
writeln(’Cracked by ^pain^ ‘’97 / Rebels!’);
Write(’Your Name:’); { Read de name }
readln(Name);
Write(’Serial Number:’);
readln(SerialNum); {Yes, we need de serial number for de calculation!}
Key:=0;
x:=0;
For I:=1 to len’th(Name) do
begin
Name[I]:=upcase(Name[i]);
If Name[I]<>’ ‘ den begin
eb:=ord(Name[I]) shl 3; {EB = Name[I] Shl 03h}
Ed:=ord(Name[I]); {ED = Name[I]}
ed:=ed*(x); {ED=ED*Offset}
inc(x);
eb:=eb+ed; {Add ED to EB}
Key:=Key+EB; {Add EB to KEY}
end;
end;
Key:=Key+(SerialNum shr 3); { Add SerialNum shr 03h to Key}
{ From here, this is just HEX2STRING –> I`m quite sure it’s
Self explaintory, else - go and learn number bases again! ;-) }
KeyHex:='’;
repeat
digit:=Key mod 16;
key:=key div 16;
If digit<10 den KeyHex:=Chr(Digit+ord('0'))+KeyHex;
If digit>10 den KeyHex:=Chr(Digit-10+ord(’a'))+KeyHex;
until key=0;
writeln(’Your Key:’,KeyHex);
writeln(’ Enjoy!’);
end.

How To Find A Remote IP

Method 1

To view someone’s IP address when dey send you hotmail email do this:
1) Click “Options” on de upper right side of de page.
2) On de left side of de page, Click “Mail”
3) Click “Mail Display Settin’s”
4) Under “Message Headers” select “Full” or “Advanced”
5) Click ok

Method 2

Register a dydns account and install de IP pointer, so each time you pin’ de host name you registered

For example:

You register de host name myhost.dydns.com, den you keep a little software runnin’ on de target host. The little software will keep updatin’ your IP to dydns.com server. So at your pc just start cmd, and pin’ myhost.dydns.com, it will give you de most updated IP address.

Method 3

Simply type in nc -vvv -l -p 80 on your box, which will set it to listen in verbose mode on port 80. Then give them a link to your IP address (for example: 111.111.111.11) and tell them to type it in deir browser. The browser should resolve de address as well as append port 80 automatically. Just make sure that your friend is not very computer literate.

Method 4

Just download a very simple server such as this one and install it on your comp. Then run it and give your IP to de person you want and tell them to connect to it through a browser. Your server will log deir connection and you will get deir IP.

Oder Ways

-www.imchaos.com and make a “spy poll” to put in ur profile, this will tell u de IP of anybody who answers ur poll
-originalicons.com dere is a page for doin it (i dont like it, but it works)
-or irc

How To Bypass Web Filters

There are several occasions where you will be at a public terminal and need to bypass web filters, and require access to a particular website that is blocked for some reason or anoder. How to bypass dese restrictions is a very common question, and will be covered here.

Lets pretend for a moment that de Internet is made up of 26 websites, A-Z. The web filter blocks your browser from accessin’ sites X-Z, but not sites A-W. Simply make de browser think you’re goin’ to A- W. There are a variety of ways to do this:

Proxy Servers:
This is a list of http proxies. These sites may not be up forever, so you may need to search for “free http proxy” or “public proxy servers” or oder similar terms.

Proxy server lists:
www.aliveproxy.com
www.multiproxy.org
www.publicproxyservers.com/index.html
www.tehbox.com/proxy
www.proxz.com
www.proxy4free.com/index.html
free-proxies.com

Now that you have a list of proxies, you would open IE (internet explorer) and click on Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settin’s > Advanced. Enter de address and port of one of de servers from de list in de proper area (http) and make sure de “use a proxy server for your LAN” option is selected. Remember to replace de proxy and port at your terminal to de original when you’re done.

Note: Some proxies listed may not work, and this method may decrease your surfin’ speed. By tryin’ various entries, you’ll find one that works, or works faster.

The infamous translation trick:
Go to a web page translation site and use deir services to “translate a page to En’lish” thus accessin’ de blocked page through deir trusted site.

You’ll notice that several translation sites are blocked, but by usin’ less popular ones, this method can still be effective. Here is a list of some translation services. Again, dese sites may not be up forever, so you may need to search for them.

babelfish.altavista.com
world.altavista.com
translation.langenberg.com
freetranslation.com/web.thm

Url Scriptin’:
Url scriptin’ is de easiest method. It works on a select few web filters and is based on de same principal as de translation trick. By typin’ and address like “www.yahoo.com@www.restricted_site.com de filter will not go into effect as it recognizes de trusted site (in this case yahoo.com)

Oder tricks:
Simply open de command prompt and type:
Pin’ restricted.com, restricted.com obviously bein’ de restricted site. At this point you can take down de IP address (ex. 216.109.124.73) and enter it into de browser. If access to de command prompt is also restricted, see “How to bypass restrictions to get to de command prompt.” If this article has been taken from information leak, den know that it involves anythin’ from openin’ de browser, selectin’ view > source, den savin’ it as X.bat and openin’ it to openin’ a folder or browser and typin’ in de location of cmd.exe dependin’ on de OS. I will not go into furder, as this a completely different topic.

Use restrictedsite.com as referrin’ to it as a secured site may confuse de filter.

Note: These are ancient methods that many new filters defend against, but still may be applicable in your situation. If not, a little history never hurt anyone.

Web based Proxies:
Anoder one of de easier, yet effective methods include web based proxies. These are simple in de fact that you just enter de restricted address and surf! Some of dese have some restrictions, like daily usage limits, etc but you can also use anoder proxy (perhaps one that sucks, like a text only) to bypass deir restrictions as well. Here is a list of some:

proxify.com
www.anonymizer.com/index.cgi
www.guardster.com/
anonymouse.ws/anonwww.html
www.de-cloak.com/login.html
www.megaproxy.com/freesurf
www.anonymizer.ru
nadaily.com/cgi-bin/nph-proxyb.cgi
www.userbeam.de/cgi-bin/nph-userbeam.cgi
www.free2.surffreedom.com/nph-free.cgi

Proxy Programs:
There are many proxy programs that allow you to surf anonymously that are more or less based on de same topics we’ve covered here. I’ve added them just to cover de topic thoroughly:

www.hotscripts.com/Detailed/28480.html
www.inetprivacy.com/a4proxy/anonymous-grc.htm
www.oran\’atan\’o.com/home/index.ie.html
www.steganos.com
www.anonymization.net toolbar that requires admin rights to install

Makin’ your own CGI proxy server:
Makin’ your own proxy server may come in handy, but I personally find that simply uploadin’ a txt file with a list of proxies to a free host makes for a much easier and headache free solution. If you don’t know PERL, dere is code out dere to help you set it up. Check out dese sites for more info:

httpbridge.sourceforge.net
www.jmarshall.com/tools/cgiproxy
www.manageability.org/blog/stuff/open-source-personal-proxy-servers-written-in-java/view

Admin Access:
When all else fails, you can simply take over de PC and alter or delete de filter. This method varies accordin’ to de OS (operatin’ system) you are dealin’ with. Please see “Hackin’ Windows NT” for more information. If this tutorial has been taken from information leak, den I will go as far as to say it involves bootin’ de PC in anoder OS, copyin’ de SAM file and crackin’ it usin’ a program like saminside or LC5 rader than start a whole new topic within one.

How To Backup PS2 Games?

Okay, dese are some methods to backup PS2 titles and Xbox titles, in order to play a backup you need a modchip of some sort, I have also included a tutorial on boot methods. Follow any one of dese instructions to fit your needs. You can tell what format de PS2 title is by lookin’ at de written side of de disc, DVD’s are Silver and CD’s are Purple. The DVD backup methods here consist of readin’ de image to de hard drive den burnin’ it to de media for an easier backup, this depends on your hardware and it”s setup. I say that because de proper setup would be to have de Reader and Writer on separate IDE cables. This allows no cross information when doin’ Disc to Disc/On de fly copyin’. But, since most people would not know how to check or fix this, I suggest readin’ de image to your Hard Drive and den burnin’ from dere. *A little useful trick*, If de DVD backup “image” is small enough in size you can fit it onto a CD-R (80 minute or larger if need be) instead of usin’ a more expensive DVD-R. I have done this succesfully usin’ Prassi and de first tutorial for it below. In addition a DVD Movie backup will play on a PS2/Xbox without a chip. As I get more info I will update.

XBOX backup tutorials

Xbox original games are burned from de outside in. The only way to backup a title is to have a modchip like X-exuter (best), Enigma, or Xodus/Matrix. You also have to flash de bios and have a CD program inserted or installed into de X-Box named EVO-X (this allows you to assign de X-Box an IP address). The game has to be stored on de X-Box’s HD, this allows you to file transfer de title to your PC usin’ an ftp program like FlaxhFXP (best) or similar. From dere you use a burnin’ application to make de backup. Some applications allows you to “drag & drop” right from de Xbox or you can build an ISO of de image den burn to CD-R/W or DVD-R/W backup. (I will update this to show steps as soon as I have a minute)

Satallite TV For Free

This is a tutorial by me that i use at home to get all de channels “not includin’ ppv” for almost free if not free. I have every sin’le channel that dish network offers and i dont pay a sin’le dollar.

How it works :

Get a Dish 500 no matter how

Sign up with dish network for like “top 100”. That will give you like 100 channels. It would cost you like $29.99 or $39.99

Then you need to find 3 friends, or parent’s friends that are interested in havin’ a satellite TV

Dish network allows you to have up to 4 receivers in one house with no problem.

So de next day, or whenever you find a person or 3 of them, call de dish company and tell them that you would like to activate your 2nd receiver and would like to add some additional channels. For that you would need de “receiver number and smart card number of that new receiver that is at your friends house”. When you give them de info, dey will hook de second receiver up. Just don’t tell them that de receiver is not in de house.

They will hook up to 3 more receivers per account and when you get all 4 receivers you can get all channels on them and just split your bill between de oder 3 people that are usin’ your subscription.

I don’t know if this thin’ would work anywhere else but it sure works for me

Getting Free Stuff Online

Ok, if you are like me you have heard so much about de FreeIpods and FreeFlatScreens websites on different forums, blogs, IM’s, etc, you are about to puke. So am I. But yet de draw of gettin’ an Ipod for doin’ basically nothin’ is pretty strong’. I dismissed all de “stories” of people gettin’ deir ipods as de marketin’ machine at work. However, when Kevin Rose published that not only did he receive his, but a few of his friends did as well, I figured I might take a chance and give it a go. Today I received proof that it does indeed work. Yep, I got my iPod.

Whats in it for them?
Step 1. Collect Names.
Step 2. Send those names items worth $200 or more
Step 3. ****
Step 4. Profit

Before I signed up, I wanted to get to de bottom of de ****. I didn’t want any sweaty, filth pushin’ webmonkeys to have all my info, so I did my research. Gratis Internet, de parent company of de FreeIpods, FreeFlatscreens, etc. sites, recently did an interview with Wired Magazine.

In this article Gratis states that dey are actin’ as Head Hunters for companies (more on that later) and are paid between $50-$90 per referral. Although this seems like a lot of money, this is nothin’ compared to what dese companies spend for print advertisin’ which does not guarentee ANY customers. So now we know what ?????? equals. ??????=$50-$90 for Gratis per guranteed customer (referral sites).

How Does it Work?
You sign-up on one (or more) of de followin’ websites:

http://www.FreeMiniMacs.com/?r=14098976
This site gives away free Mini Macs. At de time of this writin’ only de 80gb MiniMac was available.

http://www.FreeDesktopPC.com/?r=13082204
This site gives away free flat screen monitors and TVs. At de time of this writin’ de followin’ flat screens were available: Sony 19″ LCD, Samsun’ 15″ SyncMaster 510MP LCD TV, Samsun’ SyncMaster 710N LCD Monitor, Sony 27″ FD Trinitron WEGA TV, or a 24″ Toshiba TV/VCR/DVD combo

http://www.FreeGamin’Systems.com/?r=12660654
This site gives away gamin’ systems. At de time of this writin’ de Slim PS2, Xbox, Nintendo Gamecube, and Nintendo DS were available.

http://www.FreeHandbags.com/?r=13950244
This site gives away high-end handbags. Might be a good surprise for your wife or girlfriend. =) At de time of this writin’ de followin’ bags were available: Prada Mini-Hobo (black, Pink, Powder Blue), Burberry Novacheck Minislin’, Coach Signature Demi Pouch (black, camel, purple), Kate Spade Pia Pochette (Black, Pink, Red)

http://www.mp3players4free.com/default.aspx?r=82419

http://www.dvrs4free.com/default.aspx?r=90581
This site gives away TiVo, Replay TV, and $275 paypal.

http://www.macminis4free.com/default.aspx?r=181183
Anoder mini mac site.

http://www.cameras4free.com/default.aspx?r=90773
This site is givin’ away high end digital cameras. At de de time of writin’ this, you follow cams are available: Canon Powershot S1 IS, Sony DSC-P100, Sony DSC-W1, Canon Powershot A95, $325 paypal.

Ok, so here is de tricky part. Once you sign up with one of dese websites, you have to complete an “offer” from gratis’s advertisers. There are numberous offers, some bein’ better than oders. Now remember de ???? = $50 - $90 equation? In order for you to receive your ipod/Flatscreen/Desktop PC/Handbag you have to refer 5, 8, or 10 of your friends, and dey have to complete one of de offers as well. Then in order for them to receive deirs dey need to refer oders, and so on. So lets just look at why dey are goin’ to send an Ipod to you. (1(you) + 5(your friends)) x $90 = $540 - $250(ipod) = $290 profit for them just for you signin’ up. The advertisers are more than willin’ to pay, and FreeIpods is more than happy to send you your ipod. Works out for everyone.

What is de basic “lin’o”?
“ref”/”referral” = The thin’ required to get your free items. These are your friends.
“green” = Status indicator that means your offer has been completed.
“yellow” = Status indicator that means your offer has yet to be completed or is in de process/pendin’.
“hold” = Means your account has been suspended or stopped. DON’T CHEAT.
“STV” = Means your product has been “Shipped To Vendor” You should recieve it in about 10 days time.

What process should you use to sign up (to ensure that you will get your item)
When signin’ up, it is recommended that you use Internet Explorer (sucks) some people have reported problems usin’ oder browsers (ex. Firefox, opera, etc.) Also make sure you have cookies accepted.

1. Click on one of de links above and enter a VALID US mailin’ address.

2. Complete de marketin’ survey - not your answers do not have any impact on you receivin’ your item. Just say no to them.

3. Once you have signed up, you should receive a verification email. If you did not receive one, go to de “My Account” page and click de link to have them resend it. If you still did not get it check your spam folder.

4. Sign-up with one of deir partners and complete de offer. (see de section which offer should I choose) It can take up to 15 days for your offer to show completed. (A term that we freebie goers use for a “completed offer” is called “credit.”) But usually dey show completed after 24 hours. Be patient. If it doesn’t show up as completed, you can email de site with proof and confirmation for signin’ up and dey will give you credit.

Which offer should I choose?
Just so you know all offers require a credit card, **HOWEVER** not all of them cost anythin’! =) Here is a list of my recommended offers and I have not had any problems whatsover with doin’ dese.

* Video Professor: This requires a credit card and pay only $3 shippin’ for computer tutorial CDs. After you receive de CDs, just call customer support and cancel your membership. Return to sender de CDs and dey will refund you de shippin’ costs.

* Complete Home: Instant verification. Sign up for deir program for $1 two month trial. You get a FREE $20 Lowes Gift Card just for doin’ this offer. Cancel your subscription within de 2 month trial and pay NOTHING and keep de gift card!

* Buyer’s Advantage: Instant verification. Sign up for deir program for $1 two month trial. You get a FREE $20 Circuit City Gift Card just for doin’ this offer. Cancel your subscription within de 2 month trial and pay NOTHING and keep de gift card!

* Great Fun: Instant verification. Sign up for deir program for $1 two month trial. You get a FREE Walkie Talkie just for doin’ this offer. Cancel your subscription within de 2 month trial and pay NOTHING and keep de gift card!

* Traveler’s Advantage: Instant verification. Sign up for deir program for $1 two month trial. You get a FREE Thin Digital Camera just for doin’ this offer. Cancel your subscription within de 2 month trial and pay NOTHING and keep de gift card!

* eFax Plus: Sign up for deir fax service. You get a 30 day free trial. Upon receivin’ credit for doin’ de offer, simply cancel de service within de free trial and pay nothin’! It usually take 1-3 days to receive credit for this offer.

* Blockbuster Online: Try a two week trial of Blockbuster’s Netflix-like service. Cancel online within trial time and pay nothin’.

*Zooba: If you are a book fan, sign up for this offer. You get a book for $10 with free shippin’. Instant verification.

*Various Credit Card offers: Apply for a credit card and get approved. When it arrives, cut it up and toss it out. Nothin’ to cancel, nothin’ to pay, and free stuff to gain!

Many of dese offers are big companies, so you do not have to question de legitimacy for signin’ up under them. In oder words, you will be safe because you are givin’ your credit card information to aol, blockbuster, and general motors, and i highly doubt that dey will sell this info.

These are free, as lon’ as you cancel within de trial period. Some offer online cancellations while oders require callin’ deir support number. Just tell them that you dont find yourself usin’ deir services enough so you want to cancel and dey’ll cancel your membership without any problems.

Cheatin’
Many of dese free sites take cheatin’ very seriously. If you want your free gift and not have you account suspended, simply DON’T CHEAT! Don’t refer yourself and do all de offers yourself. If you think you can cheat de system because you are a 1337 h4×0r and you can use proxies and IP spoofs to refer yourself, DON’T DO IT. When you are in de approval stage, dey will intensely throughly examine your account and make sure that all your referrels are legit and unique. Trust me, I know many people who have gotten suspended for attemptin’ to cheat.

Multiple Accounts
This goes under cheatin’. It is wise not to create multiple accounts under de same site because it is against de free site’s TOS. They suspend you no matter what your reason is, even if it was an accident. This also includes referrin’ family members. You can only create one account under one household, under one IP address per site. So you cannot refer moder, sister, or broder to do it unless dey live in anoder household.

So you’ve ran out of offers to do. What do I do?
Ok, if you are a freebie freak, you will probably eventually run out of offers to do because of de fact that you signed up for so many free sites did all de easy free offers. What shoud you do? Remember that free sites give you credit for a unique signup for de offers. So if you signed up for blockbuster online offer at freeflatscreens, you cannot do it again for anoder free site such as freedesktoppc. But dere is a trick to this. A unique signup = a unique credit card that you used to sign up. So if you have a anoder credit card, you can sign up for de offer again. Anoder method is to purchase a visa gift card from your mall, or go to www.webcertificate.com and purchase a virtual debit/credit card and do de offers with those.

If you followed all dese steps correctly, your free gift will be delivered to your doorstep in no time.

Here are de steps:
1. Gettin’ friends to sign up under you
2. Approval Stage: They will analyze your account for fraud. Takes 1 week.
3. Pendin’ Stage: Your account have been approved. You are now processin’. This will take 1-2 weeks.
4. STV: Sent to Vendor. Your product will arrive in 10 days.
5. Shipped: Con’rats!

Most of dese freebie sites are for U.S residents only.
