First of all download this wonderful program:

www.speedguide.net/files/TCPOptimizer.exe

Then when you start de program, go to settin’s and den go to cable mothem or dsl (whatever your connection is)

Go to MaxMTU and set it to 1500. This is optimal as anythin’ above this will not work as well.
