What is Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is a Partnership or Joint Venture with an online merchant to sell their products and/or services in exchange for remuneration.

Your affiliate link is coded with a special ID which is unique to you. When a sale is made through your special link, the merchant credits that sale to you.

Then you just wait for the check to arrive!

Getting Started

In this part I’ll tell you what you need to set up your online resale business.

What you absolutely must have to run a resale business is a web site and a domain name.

It’s obvious… if you don’t have a web site, how are you going to make your products available for download, or accept credit card payments from your customers?

So, first you should find yourself some space with a web hosting service.

There are many hosting services online, and they all offer different prices, but I personally use Bizland to host all my web sites. For a small monthly fee ($5.95 at the time of writing), you can have a Charter account, with 200 MB of web storage. That’s more than enough to get started.

If you select the Value Option you get a massive 500 MB, plus you also get your own domain name. This can be interesting because then you don’t have to pay for one, and your domain name will automatically be directed to your web host.

You can also use a free web hosting service if you want, but I don’t recommend it. You will not have all the tools and extra services like FTP-access, enough bandwith, CGI-scripts, multiple email addresses, guaranteed uptime and live support, etc. with a free hosting.

You should also stick with a real domain name.

Or how professional will you look to a potential customer when he sees a link like:

It shouts… “I AM AN AMATEUR!”

These days, domain names have become affordable for everyone, and that’s why you should have one.

You can already get a domain name (just like mine: ebooks- made-easy.com starting from $8.70 at: www.godaddy.com

Here are two other reliable services:

cheap-domainnames.com
www.000domains.com

Go for a “.com” or “.net” domain as these are the ones that
are picked up first via the search engines. Also choose a name that appeals to your business.

A good name could be “resalerightsprofits.com”. -At the moment of writing this name was still available. I may in fact register it for myself.

If you expect to have your website for a while, you can usually save out by registering for multiple years at once.

Next to your web site and domain name you’ll need a payment processor to accept payments online.

Many marketers use Clickbank to handle all their credit card and cheque payments.

I’m not going to explain here how the service works, but you can read all about it in the “Working With Clickbank” Ebook, it is free for download.

You can also use Paypal to accept online payments. Paypal is widely used by millions of users, and makes it easy to send and receive money through your email address.

The next thing you need is an autoresponder.

Every successful online marketer will tell you that a reliable autoresponder service is absolutely necessary so that you can continue to contact people over and over again, and expose
them to your offer/product.

Most people need to see your message at least 7 times before they trust (and order from) you.

In fact, I would rank this higher than getting a web site because you can have people send an email to your autoresponder address and they will be plugged into your opt-in list.

From that list you can just send endorsements for new resale rights products and make sales.

I know many people who make six figures online just from email marketing with autoresponders.

The great thing about having an opt-in list is that you can use your mailing list over and over again.

As your list grows, so will your profits.

With a mailing list you are able to send out multiple mailings to promote affiliate programs, new products, special reports and Ebooks, etc.

And because a mailing list is “ready-to-go” at any time you need it, you can cash in on all the fresh opportunities that come along before the rest of the world gets wind of it…

Here’s the autoresponder service that I use. It allows you to set up multiple accounts, so you can build several lists, without paying for a new account.

Let me give you an example that just happened to me last week. On a Thursday afternoon I got an email from a business friend who had written a new special report that he sold with resell rights included.

The report was about Ebook marketing, and I knew that quite a few people would know about it by Monday.

So, what did I do?

I bought the reprint rights, uploaded the ready-made web page that came with it, setup my ordering link and sent out a simple and short mailing to my list.

The entire process from the time I received the email to the time I sent out my own mailing was less than 30 minutes.

Many subscribers on my list ordered the report from my web site, and I made $280 in just a few hours.

Orders continue to come it at the time I am writing this, because I set up the same email message on my autoresponder system.

Do you see how important having that mailing list is?

You can do the same thing yourself…

Write an eCourse or a special report about the subject of your business and give it away via a pop-up form on your web site.

The key is to provide VALUABLE information (kind of like what you’re receiving in this article).

If you provide your readers with useful content, then you’ll find that many browsers will turn into buyers.

Why? Because they recognize that you know what you’re talking about.

They see that what you are explaining to them really works and is understandable.

Bottom line: When you help others, they help you.

You need to give away something valuable first to capture leads and build your list.

TIP: If you don’t know how to write a high-quality report, I recommend Profit Pulling Reports. It’s a complete report that walks you through EVERY STEP of the process (including how to write that very first sentence).

In the next part I’ll explain what to look out for when you buy an Ebook package so that you don’t loose any money, and why it’s good to sell a high end product.

How To Get A FREE iPod!

First Off - Need To Know Facts

First off, I have to say that NO! This is not a scam of any type. The company offerin’ this deal (Gratis Internet) is registered with de BBB (Better Business Bureau) and has been for quite some time. Gratis is also affiliated with big-name companies such as AOL, General Motors, Ebay, Columbia House, and many oders. These companies would never affiliate themselves with a fraudulent web site/company. Aside from all this, dere is proof that this works. Many people have received deir ipods already and many more will. I wrote this document to help spread de word to you and ofcouse to help my self get an iPod.

How it works

The way FreeiPods work is actually very simple. You sign up at deir site, den you get oders to signup and complete a offer (usually free). An offer can be anythin’ from buyin’ somethin’ on a web site to signin’ up for a free trial for a ISP. When this happens FreeiPods makes money from de offer you sign up from (even if you didn’t spend a dime). With this money dey make, dey are able to offer FREE iPods, Simple huh?

To get a free ipod, you must sign up at deir site, den complete 1 (One) offer. After that, you have to get 5 (Five) people do de same thin’, and since it usually doesn’t cost anythin’ to complete an offer, a friend should be more den willin’ to help you out. After you have completed 1 (One) offer and gotten 5 (Five) people to signup and complete a offer, you will be sent de ipod of you choice.

The steps to follow.

Step #1 (Signup)

The first step is to go to de web site and signup. You will be asked witch ipod you would like and for an e-mail address and to create a password on de first screen. Then you will be asked for your shippin’ info so dey know where to send de ipod. The address to go to to signup is:

CODE
www.freeiPods.com/default.aspx?referer=7498598

Step #2 (Referrals)

The second step is a little more tricky. This is de part where you have to get people to signup for ipods usin’ you referral link. There are many ways to do this, ask some friends to do it, send out e-mails, post on forums, get on some con’a lines, write a how-to like i did, I’m sure you will think of away to do it.

Step #3 (Offers)

An offer is when you signup for one of freeipod’s affiliates, dere are quite a few to choose from. This part is what stops most people from completin’ deir freeipod offer. The reason bein’ is that it sounds to good to be true, for example, you can signup for a completely free trial of AOL and get an ipod in return.. At first i didn’t think this was legit, but after talkin’ to a few people who have done it and had proof that it actually worked for them, i decided to give it a try and it worked.

I used de AOL offer, you actually don’t need a credit card (however i did use one). If you signup and hit cancel when it asks for your credit card info, it should still work and give you credit, many people i know have tried this and it has worked. If you DO you a credit card, all you have to do is call AOL and cancel de trial after your offer has been approved by freeipods. This usually takes a day or so.

Step #4 (Wait)

Wait for freeipods to e-mail you, dey will give you instructions on what to do from dere.. It will just have you follow a link and den fill out your shippin’ info and den it will ship.

How To Find FTPs The Easy Way

I use Google because it’s de best search en’ine that everyone can access. The easiest search quote is “index of …”

Some kind of examples are:

index of ftp/ +mp3
index of ftp/ +divx
index of ftp/ +”whateveryouwant”

Google has many operators that should help you to specify your search. There are also lots of advanced operators available. Here are a few:

cache:
link:
related:
info:
stocks:
site:
allintitle:
intitle:
allinurl:

eg:
allintitle: “index of ftp/mp3″

Try to combine thin’s and maybe you’ll find somethin’.

Download Directly From CrackDB

Some of you may not know this, oders may already knew it, however, because of Sod rules which do no not allow indirect crack links, and because CrackDB is a very good resource for cracks, i will show how to post links that lead to a direct download from CrackDB.

The CrackDB server sends de archive of a crack as an attachment to de respond for an HTTP request made by your browser, this means you (and your browser) will never know de real location of de file, because of this you can’t post a direct link to de crack in your topic.

Usin’ de Referer variable we can overcome this problem, but what referer to
use? if you used de domain name http://www.crackdb.com/ you will get nothin’ but a useless image file.

The correct refere is shown on your browser address bar. For example, if you want de crack for IsoBuster Pro v1.6 you just type de name in de search box and press Enter, de next page displays a list of items that match or nearly match your search keywords, click on IsoBuster Pro v1.6 from de list and you are now in de download page, de hyperlink named “Download” is de link that initiates de request to de server to download de file, which looks like this:

http://www.crackdb.com/x.php?id=12356

The referer is now displayed on your browser address bar, which looks like this:

http://www.crackdb.com/get.php?id=12356

Now, you use both links to refer to a direct crack download from CrackDB, like this

http://www.crackdb.com/x.php?id=12356

Use this referer:

http://www.crackdb.com/get.php?id=12356

Any member now can copy & paste de links into his/her download manager and start downloadin’ immediately.

Directly Go To Inbox For Hotmail And MSN Email

FOR HOTMAIL OR MSN EMAIL USERS

Sometimes just checkin’ de hotmail website to check your hotmail or msn email is quicker than openin’ your email client and this method is a sure-fire way to make checkin’ your email very quick and easy. I would suggest makin’ a seperate folder in your bookmark list and add this links into that folder to make checkin’ your multiple folders in hotmail very accessible with one sin’le click.

FIRST go to hotmail.com and log in. make sure you set it to automatically sign you in (i guess only for ppl that have a computer all to themselves )

Afterwards try goin’ to this link

You might have to update your links every now and den but work fine for de most part.

CODE
http://hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/HoTMaiL?

Use this for your inbox

CODE
http://hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/compose?

Use this for ‘compose message’

CODE
http://hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/options?

Options of course

CODE
http://hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/addresses?

Contact list etc.

If you have customized folders you can link directly to those as well

Just click on one of your custom folders and copy de url..

Should look somethin’ like de followin’…

http://hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/HoTMaiL?a=abcdefghijklmnop&curmbox=F123456789

Delete de ‘yellow’ portion above to change de url into this…

CODE
http://hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/HoTMaiL?&curmbox=F123456789

Bookmark this link.

That should make your bookmark permanent with no “RESEND POST DATA” messages..

Google Hacks With Gmail Security Flaw

allinurl:gmail.google.com

“NetLife” Exclusive: Security hole found in “Gmail”

An Israeli hacker reveals: A security hole in “Gmail” allows de compromise of users’ email boxes â without de need of a password Nitzan Weidenfeld, Nana NetLife Magazine.

So youâve got a “Gmail” mail account? Or maybe youâve just received an invitation? Well, we have some bad news for you: Your mail box is exposed. A major security hole in Google’s mail service, allows full access to user accounts, without de need of a password.

“Everythin’ could get publicly exposed â your received mails might be readable, as well as all of your sent mail, and furdermore â anyone could send and receive mail under your name”, thus reveals Nir Goldshlagger, an Israeli hacker, on an exclusive interview with “Nana NetLife” Magazine. “Even more alarmin’”, he explains, “is de fact that de hack itself is quite simple. All that is needed of de malicious hacker, beside knowledge of de specific technique, is quite basic computer knowledge, de victim’s username â and thatâs it, he’s inside”.

When approached, Google admitted to de security flaw. Google also assured us that this matter is bein’ resolved, and that “de company will go to any len’th to protect its users”.

The flaw which was discovered by Goldshlagger and was tested many times by Nana’s editorial board had shown an alarmin’ success rate. In order not to furder jeopardize mail boxes’ owners, we will only disclose that de process is based upon a security breach in de service’s identity audentication. It allows de hacker to “snatch” de victims cookie file (a file planted in de victim’s computer used to identify him) usin’ a seemin’ly innocent link (which directs to Gmail’s site itself). Once stolen, this cookie file allows de hacker to identify himself as de victim, without de need of a password. Even if de victim does change his password afterwards, it will be to no avail. “The system audenticates de hacker as de victim, usin’ de stolen cookie file. Thus no password is involved in de audentication process. The victim can change his password as many times as he pleases, and it still won’t stop de hacker from usin’ his box”, explains Goldshlagger.

Wheder hackers have already used this method to compromise users’ accounts is unclear at de moment.

Matters are several times worse when it comes to a service such as “Gmail”. Besides de obvious blow to Google’s seemin’ly spotless image, we’re lookin’ here at a major threat to anyone who has turned to “Gmail” as his major email box. “Because “Gmail” offers a gigabyte of storage, several times bigger than most oder web based mail services, users hardly delete any old correspondence”, says Goldshlagger. “The result is a huge amount of mail accumulatin’ in de users’ boxes, which frequently include bank notices, passwords, private documents and oder files de user wanted to backup. Who ever takes a hold of this data, could literally take over de victim’s life and identity”.

“Ofer Elzam”, a security expert for “Aladdin”, who examined de security hole at “Nana’s Netlife” request, explains: “This is a major threat, for de followin’ reasons: First â de users have no way of protectin’ themselves. Second â it’s quite easy to carry out, and third â it allows identity deft, which is nothin’ less than a serious danger to de victim”.

“On de bright side”, he adds, “its a good thin’ that this hole was found now, before de service was officially announced and offered to millions of users world-wide. I reckon it’s just a matter of time before an automatic tool is made, which would allow even de less computer-savvy people to exploit this hack. The damage, needless to say, could be huge”

Is dere a way, after all, to protect ourselves in de face of this danger? Elzam does not bear good news on de matter. “The only immediate solution that comes to mind is not usin’ “Gmail” to store any messages or files that might be maliciously used. At least until Google attends to this problem”.

I received a weird email last week and I forwarded it to de bug report. Guess that was de cookie link I talked about. I put it here:

Last Monday reported that a vulnerability in “GSuite”. A local user can obtain de target user’s “GMail” password.

It is reported that a local user with access to de target user’s documents and settin’suser nameApplication DataGSuite’ folder can view de ’settin’s.xml’ file, which contains de target user’s password in ASCII value encoded form. The password can be readily decoded.

Impact: A local user can obtain a target user’s GMail password.
Solution: No solution was available at de time of this entry. The vendor plans to include a fix in de next release.
