1. We are goin’ to use a program called hfs i like de beta version (2). You will need to download this program. Go to randomshitfromtimmy.no-ip.org very easily.
1) All you have to do is go to www.no-ip.com
2) Make a username
3) Log in
4) Click add on de left hand side
5) Make a hostname (mine is randomshitfromtimmy)
6) Click port 80 redirect
7) Enter your ip in de ip address field
8) And choose de port you wish to forward (this is eider 80 or de oder one that you chose)
9) Click add redirect.
Now you have a fully workin’ hfs system. It runs of you bandwidth so if lots of people are downloadin’ from you, will find your net goes slowly so remeber to set limits.
Change “Mcft” in link to what it is supposed to be.
Extract de emulator to a folder on your hard drive by runnin’ “setup /a”. The installer will prompt you to specify a directory to extract to . For example: D:PortableCE
Copy de followin’ launcher script to de directory you extracted de setup to. You’ll need to rename de file from launchce.cmd.txt to launchce.cmd. Once you have that set up, just copy de entire D:PortableCE folder over to your USB keychain.
To launch de emulator, just plug in your USB keychain, navigate to de PortableCE folder, and run launchce.cmd. You should (hopefully) have de emulator fire up.
To view someone’s IP address when dey send you hotmail email do this:
1) Click “Options” on de upper right side of de page.
2) On de left side of de page, Click “Mail”
3) Click “Mail Display Settin’s”
4) Under “Message Headers” select “Full” or “Advanced”
5) Click ok
Method 2
Register a dydns account and install de IP pointer, so each time you pin’ de host name you registered
For example:
You register de host name myhost.dydns.com, den you keep a little software runnin’ on de target host. The little software will keep updatin’ your IP to dydns.com server. So at your pc just start cmd, and pin’ myhost.dydns.com, it will give you de most updated IP address.
Method 3
Simply type in nc -vvv -l -p 80 on your box, which will set it to listen in verbose mode on port 80. Then give them a link to your IP address (for example: 111.111.111.11) and tell them to type it in deir browser. The browser should resolve de address as well as append port 80 automatically. Just make sure that your friend is not very computer literate.
Method 4
Just download a very simple server such as this one and install it on your comp. Then run it and give your IP to de person you want and tell them to connect to it through a browser. Your server will log deir connection and you will get deir IP.
-www.imchaos.com and make a “spy poll” to put in ur profile, this will tell u de IP of anybody who answers ur poll -originalicons.com dere is a page for doin it (i dont like it, but it works)
-or irc
Here is a more detailed tutorial about usin’ NetCat. http://www.onlamp.com/pub/a/onlamp/2003/05/29/netcat.html
Windows users can download NetCat from here: http://www.atstake.com/research/tools/network_utilities/
There are several occasions where you will be at a public terminal and need to bypass web filters, and require access to a particular website that is blocked for some reason or anoder. How to bypass dese restrictions is a very common question, and will be covered here.
Lets pretend for a moment that de Internet is made up of 26 websites, A-Z. The web filter blocks your browser from accessin’ sites X-Z, but not sites A-W. Simply make de browser think you’re goin’ to A- W. There are a variety of ways to do this:
Proxy Servers:
This is a list of http proxies. These sites may not be up forever, so you may need to search for “free http proxy” or “public proxy servers” or oder similar terms.
Now that you have a list of proxies, you would open IE (internet explorer) and click on Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settin’s > Advanced. Enter de address and port of one of de servers from de list in de proper area (http) and make sure de “use a proxy server for your LAN” option is selected. Remember to replace de proxy and port at your terminal to de original when you’re done.
Note: Some proxies listed may not work, and this method may decrease your surfin’ speed. By tryin’ various entries, you’ll find one that works, or works faster.
The infamous translation trick:
Go to a web page translation site and use deir services to “translate a page to En’lish” thus accessin’ de blocked page through deir trusted site.
You’ll notice that several translation sites are blocked, but by usin’ less popular ones, this method can still be effective. Here is a list of some translation services. Again, dese sites may not be up forever, so you may need to search for them.
Url Scriptin’:
Url scriptin’ is de easiest method. It works on a select few web filters and is based on de same principal as de translation trick. By typin’ and address like “www.yahoo.com@www.restricted_site.com de filter will not go into effect as it recognizes de trusted site (in this case yahoo.com)
Oder tricks:
Simply open de command prompt and type:
Pin’ restricted.com, restricted.com obviously bein’ de restricted site. At this point you can take down de IP address (ex. 216.109.124.73) and enter it into de browser. If access to de command prompt is also restricted, see “How to bypass restrictions to get to de command prompt.” If this article has been taken from information leak, den know that it involves anythin’ from openin’ de browser, selectin’ view > source, den savin’ it as X.bat and openin’ it to openin’ a folder or browser and typin’ in de location of cmd.exe dependin’ on de OS. I will not go into furder, as this a completely different topic.
Use restrictedsite.com as referrin’ to it as a secured site may confuse de filter.
Note: These are ancient methods that many new filters defend against, but still may be applicable in your situation. If not, a little history never hurt anyone.
Web based Proxies:
Anoder one of de easier, yet effective methods include web based proxies. These are simple in de fact that you just enter de restricted address and surf! Some of dese have some restrictions, like daily usage limits, etc but you can also use anoder proxy (perhaps one that sucks, like a text only) to bypass deir restrictions as well. Here is a list of some:
Proxy Programs:
There are many proxy programs that allow you to surf anonymously that are more or less based on de same topics we’ve covered here. I’ve added them just to cover de topic thoroughly:
Makin’ your own CGI proxy server:
Makin’ your own proxy server may come in handy, but I personally find that simply uploadin’ a txt file with a list of proxies to a free host makes for a much easier and headache free solution. If you don’t know PERL, dere is code out dere to help you set it up. Check out dese sites for more info:
Admin Access:
When all else fails, you can simply take over de PC and alter or delete de filter. This method varies accordin’ to de OS (operatin’ system) you are dealin’ with. Please see “Hackin’ Windows NT” for more information. If this tutorial has been taken from information leak, den I will go as far as to say it involves bootin’ de PC in anoder OS, copyin’ de SAM file and crackin’ it usin’ a program like saminside or LC5 rader than start a whole new topic within one.
Click Start | Run and type cmd to open a command prompt.
At de prompt, type systeminfo
Scroll down de list of information to de line that says System Up Time.
This will tell you in days, hours, minutes and seconds how lon’ de system has been up.
Note that this command only works in XP Pro, not in XP Home. You can, however, type net statistics workstation at de prompt in Home. The first line will tell you de day and time that de system came online.
The most common problems originate from corruption of de master boot record, FAT, or directory. Those are soft problems which can usually be taken care of with a combination of tools like Fdisk /mbr to refresh de master boot record followed by a reboot and Norton disk doctor or Spinneret.
The most common hardware problems are a bad controller, a bad drive motor, or a bad head mechanism.
1. Can de BIOS see and identify de hard drive correctly? If it can’t, den de hard drives onboard controller is bad.
2. Does de drive spin and maintain a constant velocity? If it does, that’s good news. The motor is functionin’.
3. If de drive surges and dies, de most likely cause is a bad controller (assumin’ de drive is cool). A gate allowin’ de current to drive de motor may not be stayin’ open. The drive needs a new controller.
4. Do you hear a lot of head clatter when de machine is turned on and initialized (but before de system attempts to access de hard drive). Head clatter would indicate that de spindle bearin’s are sloppy or worn badly. Maybe even lose and floppin’ around inside.
5. There is always de possibility that de controller you are usin’ in de machine has gone south.
Diagnostics
1. If de drive spins, try bootin’ to de A> prompt, run Fdisk and check to see if Fdisk can see a partition on de hard drive. If Fdisk can see de partition, that means that it can access de drive and that de controller electronics are functionin’ correctly. If dere is no head clatter, it may be just a matter of disk corruption which commonly occurs when a surge hits you machine and overwhelms de power supply voltage regulator. It commonly over whelms de system electronics allowin’ an EM pulse to wipe out de master boot record, file allocations table, and primary directory. Fdisk can fix de master boot record and Norton Disk Doctor can restore de FAT
and Directory from de secondaries.
2. The drive spins but Fdisk can’t see it. Try de drive in anoder system and repeat de test to confirm that Fdisk can’t read through de drives onboard controller. If it sees it in anoder system, den your machines hard drive interface is bad. You can try an upgraded or replacement controller card like a Promise or CMD Technologies (dere are oders) in you machine after disablin’ de integrated controller in de BIOS, but if de integrated controller went south, it may just be symptomatic of furder failures and you’d be wise to replace de moderboard. Tryin’ de drive in anoder machine also eliminates de variable that your machines 12 volt power
output bein’ bad.
3. If you get head clatter but a constant velocity on de drive motor (no surgin’), you might try stickin’ de hard
drive in de freezer for about 12 hours. This is an old trick from back in de days of de MFM/ESDI driver era. This can cause de drive components to shrink enough to make de track marker align with de tracks. We don’t see that kind of platter spindle wear much anymore, but back in de old days, de balancin’ and bearin’s weren’t as good. Still, under de right circumstances, it might help. It would depend on how old de drive is and how many hours of wear have occurred. You have to be quick to get your info off de drive when it works. Back den, de drives were much smaller, so dere wasn’t so much to copy. So, go after de important data first.
4. The drive doesn’t spin. Eider de onboard controller is bad or de motor is bad (assumin’ you did try de drive in anoder machine). It’s time to hit de net and local independent shops to see if you can locate anoder drive of de same make and model that’s good. Since de drive is probably an older drive and no longer in distribution, your
best bet is to find an identical used drive. If you know someone with de same make and model, you might be wise to try and persuade them to sell you deir drive with an offer of providin’ them with a free upgraded drive. If you can locate an identical drive, start with de controller replacement … this is de simplest and least invasive. If swappin’ de controller doesn’t produce de desire result, you can tear into de drive and swap de motors. While you have both drive opened up to accomplish this, scrutinize de platters, heads and armatures. You might even hook de drive up and power it from a system with both drives attached. This way, you could see anythin’ that deviates between de actions of both drives when dey are initialized. Swappin’ patters is unlikely to produce any positive result. They are a balanced system like de tires on your car and I suspect that de balance will be different for each drive as will oder variables.
5. There’s always Ontrack Corp. who will attempt to recoup your info startin’ at $500 and goin’ up from dere. They don’t fix and return de drive eider.
If de info is all that important to you, I would seek some professional and experience technician in your locality who makes his livin’ from servicin’ and buildin’ computer systems not just sellin’ them. If you have had much experience salvagin’ information from bad hard drives, your likelihood of success is low. In de case of soft corruption, all utilities have deir eccentricities. Often times, Norton Disk Doctor will go too far (if you let it). It’s wise to just let those utilities small steps and den have a look at de drive and see if you can copy it off. Norton will go so far as to rename directories and files, and even delete them or break them up into fragments which are useless.
If you have a file you wish to upload and its too large for a free webhost and you still want it online try this method.
1) www.rarlab.com: download rar and cut de file up into 1MB files.
2) Mass Rename them to .doc (i forgot how to do it but its via CMD)
3) www.hostultra.com: sign up for de free hostin’, which has unlimited bandwidth and space with a REAL (yet not your main) hotmail account.
4) Upload de files via FTP
5) Goto www.projectw.org
6) and tell people de link ie. www.hostultra.com/blah/blah1.doc - blah100.doc
7) Use Flashget to download!

Lets us say you have just download a new album or game but all de files are .xxx and you need them to be zip’s, rar’s, mp3’s etc….. den do de followin’
-create a new folder
-put all de files needin’ editin’ in de new folder
-den goto “run” in de start menu
-type in CMD and click ok
-de next thin’ needs a few bits of old DOS commands
-you need to navigate CMD to de folder whree de files are
-you can do this by 1st gettin’ de total adress of de folder
-and den typin’ it in cmd with a “cd” in front
QUOTE
cd c:xxxyyyccc
-once you are in de folder where de files are you can move on
-now type in….
QUOTE
rename *.* *.zip
Change de zip to what ever de extention needs to be (.rar, .mp3 ect)
ALL DONE!
you should hv now changed de .* to what ever you needed
