Still the same familiar faces

The ability to resize all windows at the same time is another addition to Final Cut Express 2, and is a great help when you’re moving through the different stages of the editing process and need to give more or less space to different windows. Despite all the improvements, editing in Final Cut Express remains largely unchanged. Your clips are stored in the ‘Browser’ and can be viewed and trimmed in the ‘Viewer’ before you take them to the ‘Timeline’. Your finished movie appears in the ‘Canvas’ and can be seen by scrubbing through the ‘Timeline’ with the ‘Playhead’. Effects and transitions can all be found within the ‘Browser’, and are then edited in the ‘Viewer’.
